			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Performed by Ariane Mahrÿke Lemire, from her 2011 album <em>Wrecked Tangles and Love Knots</em>. Shooting this video in one day was a logistical challenge in planning and executing shots of the couple in the city scenes. Shrinking them down to tiny size was hard too. <span id="more-219"></span>Ariane and I spent days scrounging materials and constructing the little cardboard town, which could have looked spectacular in flames, but we opted for potato-flake snow to better match the music. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The first single from <a href="http://www.deonblyan.com">Deon Blyan&#8217;s</a> album &#8220;Turning to Wave&#8221; is all about encountering the mighty and elusive Chelsea Hotel, which has been home to many prolific writers and musicians. The production was a couple quick shoots to catch the band when they were passing through Vancouver and trashing a friend&#8217;s apartment while he was at work (with his permission). <span id="more-38"></span>Unfortunately our budget didn&#8217;t allow for smashing guitars or burning down the apartment. Until that day comes, we can always dream.<br />
