Dusty Roads and Broken Hearts
This is the latest video by The Lonely Heart Show from the album “Hope In Shadows”, dealing with the personal pain with long distance relationships. There were so many people involved including Jesse Hutch, Aisling Grace and Morrismore Productions.
Little Love Hymn
A Little Love Hymn by F&M is the first from their new album, “Sincerely, F&M” (2010 Shameless Records Canada). It is an intimate, understated performance piece shot in the beautiful Church of our Lord when the band was in Victoria, BC for the western leg of their Canadian tour.

The video for This Is It by The Wheat Pool is the first single from their sophomore album, Hauntario. The production was a couple quick shoots to catch the band when they were passing through Vancouver and trashing a friend’s apartment while he was at work (with his permission).
Loners’ Lullabye Video
Loners’ Lullabye is the first video for the Lonely Heart Show’s new album, Hope in Shadows. LHS songwriter and vocalist evokes the sense of sleepily drowning in a sea of loneliness. This video was shot on the beaches and in the alleyways and apartments of Vancouver in the late spring of 2010.
Lefty Video
A video produced, directed and shot for The Wheat Pool, a Canadiana band from Edmonton. We were going for something inspired by Blue Rodeo’s Hasn’t Hit Me Yet that incorporated band members and friends, that also maintained the integrity of the song’s lyrics about death and loss. Hope you like it.
Bored Game Short Film
In a dystopian city riddled with government surveillance and anti-social propaganda, the corporate masses perform their mundane daily routines in isolation. Resisting the culture of privacy and paranoia, a lonely office worker secretly takes steps to obtain an illicit multi-player board game.
Shaftebury West Coast Moments
West Coast Moments was an award-winning entry for Shaftebury’s Golden Shaft Contest to create a 30-second commercial capturing the fun and casual essence of the brand. All concept development, directing, shooting and editing were shared between Van Eyk Olivier (breakfreeproductions.com) and myself.
